The Ancient High Priest

After I finished building the Tabernacle of Moses, I figured no Tabernacle could be complete without a High Priest. Even so, a to scale model of a High Priest using the same scale as the Tabernacle would have made him too small to adequately show off his detail. I decided that a large model was necessary.

I made a phone call to my cousin Ted's wife. Her name is Becky Pedersen. She make world class porcelain dolls, and has won numerous awards. I asked her if she could help me make a doll. There was silence. What did a grown man want with a doll. Well, after some explaining she agreed. I did the metal work and the research, while she did all the skilled work. She did an amazing job. The doll is hand crafted. She fired it herself, and hand painted him. The robs were hand sown by Becky. It is amazing.
